Paris Day 5 & 6

My apologies for not posting before now, we were so busy and tired when we were home that I had no time.
Right now we are on the train to Italy, and it is the perfect time for me to update you. I'll clear up right now that all we did today was pack up, mail things, and get on the train. So with that absolutely fascinating bit of information out of the way, I will tell you of our previous few days on Paris that all you readers have yet to hear about.
Sunday morning we were able to go to our church meeting on the Metro, it was a highly enjoyable experience. Here is a picture of the entire meeting, sorry about the low quality.
It was wonderful being able to be with these lovely propel, though a lot of them didn't speak English well. Nathan (whom is behind me in this photo) translated for us into whisper mics.
After meeting we started to Versailles, and actually made it all the way to the gates, when I started feeling terrible, as we ended up going back to the apartment. We spent the entire afternoon and evening there, but we got quite a bit of much needed rest. Here is a silhouette of mum.
That was a pretty unexciting day again then.
The next day we got it together and actually had an eventful day.
We first went to the Pere Lechaise Cemetary, which for the record, is HUGE. It's like a small city. Here are some pictures I took.
Not the liveliest place..
There are some elaborate statues on top of some of the graves. Sometimes of the people in them, other times of people mourning their loss. All generally creepy.

I went on a mini art project, "life amongst death."
Now for more pictures, sorry, I really liked the lightening of the place.
Huge, like I said.

We saw the graves of Oscar Wilde and Alfred Chopin, most notably.
Then we got out of there, made room for others. You know, people are dying to get in.. (Ha. Ha.)
We went back to the Champs Élysées to climb up the Arc D'Triomphe. Now that is a lot of climbing, it's like the stairs never end!!
Where you see the blue dot in the bottom of this picture wasn't even the end of them.
Still, the Arc is incredible.
The view from the top was as well.
This is exactly how I felt, still getting over Sundays episode.
Here's mum looking amazing though.
Yay, Eiffel Tower.
From here we walked all over Champs Élysées. Even saw a five level Abercrombie and Fitch, my lungs have barely recovered.
Look, their gate with matching guards/American models.
Diamond staircase at the Swan Store.
Then we went on a bus tour to the Eiffel Tower.
The Eiffel Tower, more amazing in person.
From there we went on a boat tour of the River Seine, which was awesome.
Mum's hair was very relaxed.
The Eiffel Tower at night when we got back was incredible.
We saw a wonderful street artist.
It was a long day. Mum on the Metro home.
The next day we went to Versailles, finally. It was a long exhausting day. Let me just show you photos.
Just the beginning of the gardens, at the very front.
The fountains weren't on that day, very disappointing.
The roses there were beautiful.
La Petite Venise, the restaurant we had lunch at.
Fabulous bread.
Ravioli.
Getting educated about Versailles. It has a very complicated history.
This was the walk to our first location to visit: The Grande and Petite Trianon away from the Palace.
A few pictures of the inside.
They're really into patterns there.
Look, a really fancy chandelier!
Gardens through the window
A moment of fabulous from Mum on the Grande Trianon Promenade.
Side note: That's her new dress from our Champs Élysées walk! I took an impromptu nap while she shopped.
Chandelier!
I decided that this would be an acceptable living place.
Smiles.
The dancing hall below
I was at a lack of a partner, so no dancing took place.
The front of the Trianon, and back of the new dress.

Get ready for an immense number of random garden pictures.
(Now inside that house in the distance)
Their dining ware
These roses smelled the best.
A small monument of sorts in the middle of the garden.
I was hanging out with a very sweet swan for awhile.
And now, introducing the most amazing place ever: The Queen's Hamlet! Marie Antoinette lived here to get away from all the palace life.

With the right people, I could've stay there forever.
Back at the main palace gardens.
The orangery is as follows. Hundreds of potted orange tress, and all different kinds!
The golden gates of Versailles Palace.
And finally, inside Versailles.
The Chapel
The Hall of Mirrors.
Enough chandelier pictures, Ameran!
Splendor, splendor, and more splendor really.
I hope you enjoyed looking at all that.
Now seriously, I am done. It has taken me well over an hour to write this on a smart phone and I am really tired of this pose.
So, I hope you've enjoyed the blog, you'll hear more when there is more to be told. Fairest of wells.
Me right now.
